For carriers running Amazon Relay loads, 3 to 10 trucks

Your Relay week, on one board. Every trip, every driver's pay, every timestamp.

No rate con, no factor — Amazon writes the invoice and pays on Friday. What's left is yours: the trips, who drove them, the arrive-and-depart times that decide a detention dispute, and settlements built from the same numbers. Freight Friend keeps that office. It does not touch your Relay account.

One Relay trip, start to finish

The same run we'll do with you on a 15-minute call — your trip instead of our sample.

  1. Step 1

A trip lands on your board

Import the week's trips from the file you download from the Relay portal, or type one in from the Relay app. The payer is Amazon Relay, the equipment is power only, and there is no rate con to upload because there isn't one.

  2. Step 2

The driver taps arrive and depart

One tap at the gate, one at departure, from the phone's browser. Freight Friend keeps the time and the place. If the truck sat past free time, the load page says what that detention is worth — the number you take to a dispute.

  3. Step 3

Drivers are paid from the same numbers

When the trip is delivered, each driver's settlement is built from it — per mile, per load, percentage, whatever their deal is. Fuel and advances come off. Everyone sees the same statement.

Where the Relay week goes

Relay pays fast and asks little, which is why the office side gets ignored until it costs money: a trip that never made it to the driver's pay sheet, two hours at a dock with no proof, a short pay nobody noticed until the 30-day window had closed. None of it is hard. It's just all of it, every week, after the trucks are parked.

Three things built for the Relay week

Beyond the board, Freight Friend does three jobs a Relay office usually does by hand. They are new: the first Relay carriers shape how they work, and their files decide which columns the imports recognise on their own.

Freight Friend never signs in to Relay or the FMCSA: statements and trips come in as the files you download, and scores as you read them.

  1. Weekly statement check

Import the week's payment statement from the Relay portal. Every line is matched to its trip by the Relay load ID, and short pays, unpaid trips and over-pays come out as a list. Trips paid in full are closed out in one step.

  2. Dispute desk and evidence PDF

Detention, TONU, short pays and unpaid trips show up as claims with their 30-day clock, and a reminder comes a week before the last day. Each trip has one PDF — Relay load ID, scheduled times, every stop time with who recorded it, the detention math and the trailer and paperwork photos — to attach in the Relay portal.

  3. Relay eligibility watch

Enter your BASIC percentiles, your Relay performance grades and each roadside inspection, and keep your policies on file with their limits. Freight Friend checks them against Relay's published lines and puts the verdict on your dashboard, so the first warning comes from you, not from a suspended account.

Your drivers keep the Relay app

Freight Friend asks a driver for one thing on a Relay trip: a tap on arrival and a tap on departure, from the phone's browser — in English, Spanish or Somali. If a driver forgets, the office keys the times in. The Relay app stays the Relay app.

It keeps working in dead zones and sends when the signal comes back.

Straight answers

Is Freight Friend affiliated with Amazon?

No. Freight Friend is independent software for carriers. It works alongside Amazon Relay the way a spreadsheet does — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon, and it never signs in to your Relay account.

Does it connect to the Relay portal?

No. Relay has no public way in for software like ours. You download your trips and your weekly payment statement from the Relay portal and import the files; the first time, you match the columns once and Freight Friend remembers them.

Do my drivers need a second app?

No download. Freight Friend runs in the phone's browser and asks for two taps per trip, arrive and depart. If a driver doesn't tap, the office enters the times. The Relay app is still where they run the load.

I don't factor. Does that matter?

Not at all. Relay pays you directly, so there is no packet to send and nothing to set up for a factor. Invoices in Freight Friend are your own records of each trip; you mark them paid as the Friday deposit lands.

What about trailer damage on Amazon trailers?

On a Relay load the driver can photograph Amazon's trailer at hook and at drop, time-stamped and kept on the trip next to the paperwork. Those photos go into the trip's evidence PDF.

When do I start paying?

Nothing until Freight Friend checks your first weekly Relay payment statement against your trips. Then $99 a month, month to month, cancel any time. The first 10 founding carriers keep that price for 12 months.

Bring last week's trips.

Fifteen minutes on a call: last week's trips go on the board, Amazon's statement is checked against them, and your drivers' pay comes out the other end.
